The Best Time of the Year to Buy a Car! Labor Day Weekend!

We all can know that at one time or another, the new models 2011 cars has to hit the lots. That would make it an opportune moment to purchase that car or truck that you have been eying for the entire year, but at a much more discounted price. Moreover, the incentives to buy a new car will entice you even more. For example, some dealers will offer you a zero percent financing for up to 5 years, $3500-$5000 cash back. With deals like that; it makes the car or truck look even more enticing than ever.

However, we can argue both ways with “the best time to buy a car”. If your like me – more broke than an 8-track (stereo tapes popular from 60’s-early 80’s, tapes so big they had full pictures on them), then your best time to buy a car is – never (Most bloggers make banana). So, based on the economic crisis that we are facing and the amount of work that is still left out there (although, I have friends that are still getting new jobs… hmm…). But buying a new car is a big commitment; and can really put a burden on your way of living.

If you have the money to make a purchase for a new car; then kudos to you. Because that would be something I would do. Not to go off the subject too far, but, the interest rates on homes are at its lowest ever – at 4.5% (with some small guidelines). My point would be that given the down turn and a potential for a double dip recession; we can get some pretty good deals if we could afford it. That goes with the quote “buy when there’s blood on the streets”.

Something Cool About New Cars and Police Lights: 2012 Ford Explorer

The 2012 Ford Explorer Police interceptor will one of the latest vehicle that will make it to the family of police cars and SUVs. (This Explorer would make RoboCop smile). Something about new models of vehicles that are transformed into police cars’; gives them an astonishing look. Since we are most aware of police cars and their lights; they are a constant reminder that the future is now. They have allowed us to set them into a place and time of the past. For example, police cars around 30-40 years ago only had one disco light on top and the most annoying siren. Fast forward a decade; they added more lights to the top of the roofs, but they were still very bulky. And ten years after that; the police lights are almost flush to the roof with more lights in the front bumper and lights built into the headlights corners, and even lights in the back window letting us know to go around. Nowadays, they have gone all out with CCFL and LED technology that are mesmerizing to the eyes.

What gets me are the front bull bars and black hubcaps that shows the public, the vehicles are made to serve and protect. Packed with new technology and new reinforcements; the new police cars are nothing less than amazing to look at.
