Leaping Through the Fog

With every season comes something new, and at K2Motor, we have plenty of new items that will tickle the enthusiast in you. This time we’re featuring new fog lights and tail lights. I think every car should have standard fog lights. They’re great for driving in the dark by providing more light to for you and for other drivers to know you’re there, and especially great for foggy days where you can barely see ten feet in front of you. A lot auto makers even have the fog light wiring harness all ready to go, but still want you to spend $200+ on the fog lights. The new fog lights that just arrived include Ford Explorer; Mustang and Ranger; more colors for the Dodge Ram and Dakota; VW Passat; Lincoln Navigator; Honda Prelude; Nissan Altima; Mitsubishi Montero; and Toyota Yaris.

We also got new LED tail lights for the Nissan Titan and Chevy Silverado in various colors.

These lights are here now and ready to order. But stay tuned for more new lights and accessories in the coming weeks.

Range Rover’s Unique Look and Now with a Chrome Fender Vent Insert

Car makes and models come and go. Depending on how popular the model gets; will determine how much longer they will stay. In order to keep customers interested in the look of the car, the designers must continue to twist and bend the shape of the cars to make them more desirable. Since the front of the cars are the first things we see; car companies have gone through almost every shape imaginable for the headlights. They started with square headlights and moved on to round, oval, and now back to square. Tail lights also goes through the evolution process of shape changing. At one point, the car no longer looks like the original look it first started with. However, there is one car company in particular that almost everyone can what the make and model was when it was first introduced.

The Range Rover is a car design that did not need a drastic change. It made its way off the production line with a look that was going to be timeless. The company Tata motors now owns the Range Rover and continues its beautiful features with almost no major altercations at all. No changes to the front grill, headlights, or tail lights. Some might look at a Range Rover and wonder if they changed anything at all. Actually, they did change something on the fenders of the SUV. The fenders now have vents. The vents are usually a mate dark gray color. The dark gray kept the look of the car more subtle looking. But what if you want to fix the car up a bit, maybe chrome rims? What might add to the already sleek look of the Ranger Rover?

The new chrome fender inserts are the remedy to the stylish look. The chrome inserts are never before seen for the Range Rover. The chrome grill inserts has followed the popular side mirror cover lens that has been a huge hit. The chrome gill insert are now in place to complement each other with the chrome mirror covers. The quality and design are different from the stock look. There are two different styles. These fender inserts have that smooth chrome fold that leads to a mesh chrome. Or the stock look with chrome. With luxury and class going hand in hand; the fender grill inserts are creates that bridge and that has so long separated the two. K2motor is happy to present the new fender grills for the Range Rover.

If You Plan to Visit the DMV, Please Try to Make an Appointment

If You Plan to Visit the DMV, Please Try to Make an Appointment

Everyone that drives a car needs to visit the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) at one point or another. Whether it’s to renew a driver license or registration for a car – we end up there. The DMV has to take care of thousands of motorist a day. Once we step into a DMV; we already have an idea in the back of minds that waiting cannot be avoided.

Fortunately, the last decade; the DMV changed the way we wait for our turn. Before, standing in line for hours at a time is the only option available. Now we just have to wait for our numbers to be called and our issues are categorized by letters. This way, being seated (if you can find one) while waiting helps the legs out a bit. However, this never solved the lengthy waiting process. The wait is still in the hours (on a good day) and they DMV employees do their best to accommodate motorist fast as they can. So unless you have some time to spare; there are other methods for the DMV.

Making an appointment before going will do wonders. This will give you the golden ticket to walk up the front of the line and get help in minutes; instead of hours. The power of making an appointment can benefit our lives in a positive way. Saving time and having that time to do other things with it (like nothing), is better than hoping the B113 will become your number of B242. And looking back at the monitor again two hours later and seeing your number get closer – “Now serving B161″ (sadface). So the next time, you have an abundance of time; roll to the DMV and grab a number. Or you can spend the few minutes and make an appointment. K2motor would like to recommend making that appointment when possible.
